The assessment service is inclusive of a report- our psychologists are trained and highly experienced in the preparation of comprehensive reports.
These reports will outline if the client has met any diagnostic criteria, what funding they may be able to attain, and include recommendations for the home and the educational or support setting.

Therapy
Our psychologists offer therapy services using a wide array of techniques such as: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Positive Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Trauma Informed supports, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy as well as a number of evidence based programs to build social skills, emotional regulation skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, goal setting, values identification and organisational skills.
We strive to create a safe space and work alongside our clients to form understanding, growth and a sense of well being. We can provide services to clients through Medicare (using the Better Access to Mental Health Care Plans), clients who have National Disability Insurance Scheme funding (using their Daily Living/Core Supports), and some private health insurers.

Board approved supervisors
Board approved supervisors:
Julia is approved to provide primary and secondary supervision for provisionally registered psychologists.
Group supervision is also available.

Staff development/Training:
We can provide training and staff development for education, support and allied health care settings in a number of areas, such as improving understanding of: mental health, autism spectrum disorders (for teachers/support staff and peers), attention deficit hyperactive disorders, psychological assessments, social skills, children’s development, family systems, trauma and attachment, positive behaviour support, grief and loss, classroom supports for children with special needs. We can also provide ongoing clinical support for staff members
