Meet the Team

Beinda Steward
Registered Psychologist
B Psych, M Prof Psych.
Belinda has worked in a diverse range of settings including private practice and inpatient and outpatient mental health teams. Belinda has experience in child, adolescent, and adult psychology, addressing a spectrum of challenges encompassing special needs, disabilities, developmental delays, and various mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, depression, and personality disorders.
Belinda is passionate about supporting children, young people, adults, and families. Her therapeutic approach is characterized by a commitment to providing a non-judgmental and client-centered environment. When working with families she believes in a collaborative approach, not only engaging with children but also reaching out to their caregivers, providing crucial parental and caregiver supports and training.
Belinda has a strong background in the application of Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), a powerful tool in addressing complex emotional and behavioural challenges. Beyond DBT, her therapeutic techniques include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Positive Behaviour Management, and Parent Skills Training. This comprehensive approach allows her to tailor interventions to suit the specific needs of each client, fostering lasting positive change.
Belinda offers a range of assessments, providing a holistic approach to understanding each individual. She is experienced in providing cognitive, academic, and functional assessments. In the domain of mental health and diagnostic testing, Belinda uses a nuanced approach to uncover underlying issues contributing to emotional and behavioural concerns.
She is well-versed in specialized assessments like the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule and Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised. Belinda is committed to utilising the assessment process as a dynamic tool to support families and individuals by providing a roadmap for targeted and impactful interventions.

Julia Manche-Reid
Registered Psychologist
BA (Psych), Grad. Dip (App Psych), MAPS.
Julia has been a registered psychologist for over 20 years. She has worked in a variety of education settings, not for profit and private organisations across NSW. She has experience working with clients with a range of special needs, disabilities, developmental delays, and mental health issues, across the lifespan. She strongly believes in a holistic and collaborative approach and strives to liaise in a positive way with families, carers and support staff. Her interests lie in developmental and attachment issues; enhancing self esteem, wellness and mindfulness; social and interpersonal skills; the brain to body connection, and emotional regulation.
Her approach to therapy aims to be individualized, working with her clients to help them to feel empowered in their everyday lives. She uses therapy techniques such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, as well as evidence based social skills, informed trauma and emotional regulation programs to support clients.
Julia also has experience in delivering a range of psychological assessments such as: cognitive, functional, academic, mental health/diagnostic, developmental, and social and emotional skills. She can also administer more specified assessments, such as the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, and the Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised.
Julia is a Board approved supervisor, and enjoys supporting and guiding provisionally registered psychologists in their journey to becoming registered psychologists.
